clothing donation policy

We have very limited storage space, and so encourage clothes which are only season appropriate (i.e. no winter jackets during the summer).

 

guidelines for quality donations

Please launder all clothing/fabric items before donation. We are not currently able to launder donation items of any sort. We are currently accepting donations during meal times. Optimum time for donating items is between 5:00p.m.-5:30p.m. Donations will be accepted outside of these times but please call to schedule a pickup or drop off appointment. Clothing items that are missing buttons, unwashed, contain broken zippers, are torn or ripped, mismatching shoes, cigarette burns, off season items [i.e. winter jackets in summer, bathing suits in winter, shorts in winter] are not recommended for donation due to limited storage space and diminished client need.

 

appliances, household items and etc.

We can accept any appliance and household item that you might want to donate. All items must be in working order. We will either use these items within our ministry or find another ministry that is in need of such and item. Donations can be scheduled for pickup by contacting todd glasgow, director at (210) 701-0607 or email @ info@communitytableproject.org

 

vehicles, motorcycles, and rvs

Don't waste your time and money trying to sell your unwanted vehicle, motorcycle or RV- donate it to Community Table Project. It's free, easy and tax deductible, plus the income will help us to feed your community.

Community Table Project wants to help your ministry or organization make the most if its food needs.

 

We can help you organize and develop the resources to obtain, prepare and/or distribute food to the community you serve.

Our volunteer needs are plentiful. We have a volunteer opportunity for nearly every schedule and skill level. Please get in touch with us anytime. Together we are creating programs that provide basic needs for the most vulnerable men, women and families who are members of our community.

 

create a team

to feed the hungry We rely completely on volunteer teams from the community to prepare and serve the hungry. You can help by forming a team of 6 to 12 members who will prepare and serve the meal, and return the kitchen and dining area to a clean state. Teams are always assisted by an on-site coordinator provided by Community Table Project.

 

join a team

There are teams which need additional people. We can partner you with one that fits your schedule.

 

other opportunities

  • Help organize food drive events

  • Take videos and photos at meals/special events

  • Assist with administrative tasks
